Philos IT launches its Nuxeo Connector for SAP Commerce Cloud

Linking SAP’s leading cloud-optimised e-commerce platform with Nuxeo’s MACH architected content services platform, the launch offers strategic x-channel, x-location, x-department management of content and organisation-wide message and brand consistency to SAP Commerce Cloud users worldwide.

Nuxeo makes it easy to build smart content applications that enhance customer experiences, improve decision making, and accelerate products to market. SAP Commerce Cloud is SAP’s enterprise-class e-Commerce platform in the cloud. It enables highly personalised e-Commerce transactions using modern, performant and agile
technologies such as micro-services and open API’s.
Strategic management of content and digital assets is becoming more and more essential as modern enterprises have become publishers of enormous volumes of information in both digital and physical form. Messaging and branding are key to good communications with customers, shareholders and the other stakeholders. The preservation of consistency and sameness in enterprise communications can only be achieved through coordinated, x-departmental, x-channel integrity management of content, which Nuxeo enables.
Our Nuxeo Connector for SAP Commerce Cloud marries the enterprise e-Commerce capability of SAP to the best cloud-native content services platform (CSP) available on the market – Nuxeo. With a little auto-
configuration in Nuxeo and a straightforward installation of the Connector in SAP Commerce Cloud, the platforms are made to work together like they are one. For additional convenience, the Connector includes a migration tool with a user-friendly front-end that facilitates a simple, “click-and-select” migration process for all or some e-Commerce digital assets and content held in SAP Commerce.
The end result is that strategic processes such as Product Management and Lifecycle Management can now be comprehensively managed enterprise-wide and system-wide, promoted from an e-Commerce-only context to a multi-channel and process-aligned one. Messaging and branding can now be fashioned at enterprise level and reflected automatically in e-Commerce and other processes.
